Malav is an experienced Chartered Accountant, with over 22 years experience. He leads business strategy advisory to clients with inbound and outbound transactions including Tax Structuring, Employer Obligations and Due Diligence.

He is a Fellow of Tax Institute and a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Malav’s professional focus is in Business Advisory, Tax Planning with expertise in Structuring and Re-structuring, Succession Planning, Cash Flow Management, Business Valuations and General Taxation Advisory associated with transactions.

He advises clients in various industries including mining support services, real estate, Medical and Allied Health services, manufacturing and service organisations, automotive sales and service and franchised businesses. His experience in valuation of businesses provides a valuable perspective on assessment of business performance and profit improvement.

Malav also provides innovation service working closely with Start-ups in strategic advisory, structuring, funding alternatives, Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive and Early Stage Innovator tax offset.

Malav’s expertise in valuation services and Litigation Support Services in Family Court matters have resulted in earlier settlement of family law cases with technically superior outcomes. He provides taxation advisory in family law cases for fairer outcomes.

Malav is currently a member of the Professional Development (PD) Committee of The Taxation Institute in Western Australia.
